Darkest Hour
A bastard child born of the mid 90s punk/metal/hardcore movement, Washington, DC’s DARKEST HOUR combine the passion, energy, and soul of punk/hardcore with the style, speed, vengeance and fury of melodic speed/thrash/death metal.

DARKEST HOUR have helped defined the entire New Wave of American Metal sound as one of the pioneers of modern metal/core. A sound that gave the metal and hardcore/punk world the revitalization it surely needed. This style blended the raw, hardcore punk of the 80s, with the Scandinavian death metal of the 90s and forged a sound that would later become the template for modern metal.

Since their inception 21 years ago, Darkest Hour has released 8 studio full lengths (via 11 different record labels), appeared in major motion pictures and US television shows, video games, and have toured the world extensively covering 6 of the 7 continents.
While many of their contemporaries have decided to hang it up, Darkest Hour is still charging ahead with invigorated spirit. In 2016, the same rabid fan base that helped propel the band into the national spotlight, pushed them to reach another milestone by helping the band crowd fund over $70,000.00.

The band then partnered with California based Southern Lord Records to help complete the release and distribution of this fan fueled release!

2017 will see the release of said album, and the world tour that will follow. This 9th studio album produced by underground legend Kurt Ballou (Coverge), at his Godcity complex, is destined to be a Metalcore classic.

Drawing from the bands 21 years’ experience, this album is set to solidify Darkest Hour’s legacy as a metal power house. Raw as all hell, musically complex, melodic, yet cutting with razor blade precision, Darkest Hour’s 9th full length record, Godless Prophets and the Migrant Flora is fierce and hungry for blood.
Warbringer
Warbringer
Hardly satisfied with any of the new trends in the metal scene, we decided to take a step back and prove that old-school heavy metal is just as fucking heavy, loud, and shreds twice as hard as anything to date.
Formed in late 2004, we set out to show the local metal scene that Warbringer was a force to be reckoned with, playing no-holds barred rip-roaring thrash metal. After a 4-song demo and ton...s of shows with fellow ragers like Merciless Death, Fueled By Fire, Hirax, Dekapitator, and Toxic Holocaust, we released our "One by One the Wicked Fall" EP in October of 2006. Later that year we had the privilege of signing to one of the most respected heavy metal labels in the world, Century Media.
We recorded our debut album, "War Without End" in the fall of '07 with Mr. Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Fates Warning, Sacred Reich, Hallows Eve) and went on to appear on a few compilation albums such as Speed Kills...Again, Metal For the Masses 6 and Thrashing Like a Maniac comp with some of the best acts around.
We've been honing our live show into a violent thrash assault touring the US with Exodus, Goatwhore and Arsis in January/February; Nile, Suicide Silence, The Faceless and Unexpect in March/April; Europe with Napalm Death and Suffocation in May/June, a week of headline shows in the UK with Gama Bomb, and back to Europe in August with Sworn Enemy and All Shall Perish, which kicked off with our performance at Wacken Open Air, another US/Canadian tour with Finntroll and finally in Oct. supporting Overkill. What a year!
We'll take Nov. and Dec. off completing the writing of the second album and plan to record in January before we go back out on tour. So far we're booked from end of Jan - end of May in the US with back to back tours with Soilwork/Darkane and Kreator/Exodus with plans to spend most of the summer in Europe again.
Thanks to all of you for your continued support, you guys fucking rule!
THRASH OR BE THRASHED FUCKERS!
Exmortus
Exmortus
The Southern California quartet EXMORTUS — whose invigorating twin-guitar mix of neoclassical shred, Bay Area thrash, progressive death and traditional heavy metal has earned the group a devoted following in the Western U.S. — has signed a worldwide contract with Prosthetic Records (Skeletonwitch, Holy Grail, Scale The Summit). The group's full-length Prosthetic debut and third album overall will be released in February of 2014, when they will tour North America with Dark Tranquillity and Omnium Gatherum.

Prior to that, EXMORTUS will team with San Francisco thrashers Hatchet for the "Death Upon The West" tour, which kicks off in Fullerton, Calif. on Nov. 2. A complete list of the band's upcoming tour dates can be found below.
"We're very excited and proud to announce our signing with Prosthetic Records," the band says in a statement. "The staff there is great and very enthusiastic. They've signed so many great bands over the years and continue to do so, some in which have even given us some influence. Being fans of the label and their artists, it just feels like a perfect fit. We can't for wait Prosthetic to put this next record out!"
Co-founded a decade ago by then-teenage cousins Conan (vocals/guitar) and Mario Moreno (drums), EXMORTUS self-released several demos and EPs before signing with Heavy Artillery Records in 2007. The group's 2008 debut "In Hatred's Flame" and 2011 follow-up "Beyond The Fall Of Time" earned praise for their "frighteningly aggressive thrash blended with both death metal and NWOBHM bluster" (Blabbermouth), and their exuberant, shred-heavy live performances can convert even the most jaded heshers into enthusiastic headbangers.
Additional details about EXMORTUS' Prosthetic debut will be revealed in the coming weeks. For more information on the group, visit www.facebook.com/exmortusofficial.

Malison
Malison
Hailing out of Southern California, the origins of Malison are traced back to the days of a high school cover band looking to get together and play some tunes.

After years and years of playing together and putting on cover shows for friends and family, original material was starting to get written, and then the embryonic stage of musical development started to progress.

After Malison had found a guitarist with similar musical direction, the band started collaborating together on new musical ideas, inspired by the sounds of Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Between the Buried and Me, Dragonforce, and Megadeth.

On January 17th, 2014, Malison was born.

Since then, Malison has played a handful of shows in the Southern California metal scene, and has even taken the prerogative to put on its own shows hosting San Diego talent to build the heavy metal community. Using the moniker "Malison Presents," Pop vs. Metal was an instant success, and now "Pop vs. Metal II: A New Challenger" will be underway!

Malison is hoping to reach the heavy metal community with a revival of clean vocals, complementing the classic sound and feel of the 1980s, with a contemporary edge for originality. The galloping bass lines, raspy vocals, and melodic harmony encompasses Malison's vision for a new, unique sound.

Currently, the band just self-released their first EP, "Impulses" on June 9th, 2015
and is currently waiting to take the stage at a venue near you!
