The Iron Maidens
The Iron Maidens
Formed in 2001, The Iron Maidens have quickly established themselves as one of southern California's most popular tribute acts and are rapidly gaining international recognition. The band boasts beauty as well as excellent musicianship, lively stage presence, and a remarkable stage show with theatrical scenes interspersed throughout.

First and foremost on the agenda of The Iron Maidens is talent. These women are highly trained professionals with diversified musical backgrounds ranging from orchestral and musical theater to blues and rock. The band and its members have been the recipients of many awards including best tribute band, and best in category (guitar, bass, drums, voice) at events such as The Rock City News Awards, The LA Music Awards, and The All Access Magazine Award Show to name a few.

The line-up is:
Kirsten Rosenberg aka Bruce Chickinson- Vocals
Linda McDonald aka Nikki McBURRain-Drums
Courtney Cox aka Adrianna Smith- Guitar
Wanda Ortiz aka Steph Harris- Bass
Nita Strauss aka Mega Murray -Guitar

The Iron Maidens cover Iron Maiden material from all eras of the band's career, encompassing the band's biggest hits as well as fan favorites. The stage show includes appearances by Maiden mascot Eddie, the grimreaper, the devil and more.
Symbolic
Symbolic
As a heavy-hitting dynamic force hailing from the power/prog metal midst of the San Diego, California music scene, Symbolic combines their melodic energy and excitement for what will be their fifth CD later this year.

Since the first three years of their conception, increasingly impressive efforts helped build a strong following locally and internationally. Opening for well-known national acts such as Adrenaline Mob, Fates Warning, UFO, Brian Wheat (of Tesla fame), PHILM with Dave Lombardo, guitar legend Michael Schenker, Doro Pesch and others, it was no surprise that Symbolic found themselves in very close company of great music notables.

Their epic sophomoric release "Nevertime" garnered them a 2011 SDMA nomination for "Best Hard Rock Album of the Year". Radio interest locally and as far away as Chicago (Gregg Kovach), offered the band enormous praise. Billy Sherwood (of Yes and Circa fame) commented upon learning of the band and hearing cuts from their third effort "Disconnected": "Cool stuff indeed…I really dig the band".

With the 2012 release of "Xenatopia", notable music critic and journalist Martin Popoff writes, "Symbolic have demonstrated a sterling silver craftsmanship in the forging of locked down metal with both brains and brawn". A heavier and even more progressive than anything they've done to date under the guidance of producer/engineer Daniel Castleman, “Xenatopia” had corralled the power/prog metal faithful throughout 2013 and 2014. Radio/internet interviews and San Diego radio airplay sealed Symbolic’s position as musically solid and here to stay.

With Scott Bruce (vocals), Steve Potts (guitar), Bobby Fernandez (bass), and Steven Elias (drums), Symbolic’s future is of one of the staunch core foundations of the San Diego music scene.
Seventrain
Seventrain
Seventrain performed together for the first time in the fall of 2012 in San Diego, California at a memorial show for the late Vincent John Crudo, (otherwise known as “Big Vinnie”), who was a respected local sound technician and bass player in the Southern California area. Guitarist Eric Horton, who had previous worldwide success with his former power metal band Cage, assembled some admired local musicians to play a handful of cover songs at the memorial show. Shortly after this performance, the guys decided to record an album of material that guitarist Eric Horton and vocalist Jon Campos had been working on. Eric recruited former 24-7 Spyz (Atlantic/Eastwest Records) drummer Joel Maitoza who respectively has appeared on 22 albums to produce and play drums on the debut along with guitarist Jef Poremba (Kofi Baker, 6ONE9), vocalist Jon Campos (Dive Bomber) and bassist Greg Rupp (My Middle Finger, 6ONE9) who appeared on the CD, but was replaced by Steve (Dino) Andino (Tourniquet) shortly after the recording of the album.

Following a few months of pre-production, they started recording the debut album in the spring of 2013 at DML Studios with engineer Don Lithgow (Blink 182, New Found Glory, Finch) lovingly tracked in analog on 2” tape.

Seventrain draws from a variety of influences. When you listen to the bands music, you immediately identify with the honesty & integrity of many of the great 70's hard rock icons combined with the intensity and ability of today’s top hard rock artists. Not only does Seventrain have the ability to take rock music to the extreme, it also has the depth to create very emotional songs that send a strong universal message. The bands music transcends the trends and fads that plague today’s popular music. We feel if we truly love what we create, we hope you will too!

The bands self-titled debut album was released in the US, Europe and Japan on 2/18/2014 on their own label So Cal Records/Alliance Entertainment (available now on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby). It also charted on the CMJ Loud Rock Top 40 charts at #36 it's first week to radio on 2/25/2014 and has been receiving favorable reviews by critics worldwide.
Nightshadow
Nightshadow
Nightshadow was originally conceived in 2012, but it would be 3 years before the band would really get started. Nightshadow's goal is to give San Diego a dose of epic power metal \m/
