Hed PE
Hed PE
Originally based in Huntington Beach, CA, (Hed) p.e. was founded in 1994 by frontman Jahred, whose goal was to fuse the region's long-standing punk rock heritage with G-funk-inflected hip-hop. He was shortly joined by bassist Mark who has remained alongside the band until present day. The line up is currently rounded out by guitarist Jaxon and drummer Trauma.

(Hed)p.e was snatched up by Jive Records early in its career, but it wasn't until the year 2000 when they released the album "broke" that they received mainstream success. It was this album that solidified them as a mainstay in the rock and metal community.

(Hed)p.e. released its third album "Blackout" in 2003 which continues to be their most successful album to date. The group is infamous for changing the image and style of the band and music from release to release. Infusing moments of punk, metal, rap, reggae, and rock into their very eclectic yet precise sound.

Many have asked what the name (Hed) p.e. means and stands for. According to vocalist Jahred, "The name (Hed) p.e. is a name I came up with which basically means our consciousness is connected to the planet and the planet is evolving, therefore, we as her children, evolve with her. The "p.e." originally was defined as PLANETARY EVOLUTION, and sometimes morphs to PLANET EARTH and back, but both carry the same message, the (Hed) is the symbol for consciousness. WE ARE ON THE MOTHERSHIP!"

Despite many bands and peers from their genre, (Hed)p.e. has never taken a break from releasing albums and touring, which has enabled them to survive and meet with very strong independent success over the years. As a member that has been with the band from inception, bassist Mark attributes this to a passion for music and for playing in (Hed)p.e. for over 2 decades. "I moved from NewCastle England to pursue music in the United States and have never looked back." says Mark. "Our goal is to be a band that can connect with fans for decades to come, much like bands like the Rolling Stones have been able to do for over four generations of music."

Staying true to the (Hed)p.e. standard of change and growth both personally and musically, the new album "Evolution" takes the band back to their metal and underground roots they grew up on as kids. With tracks like "One More Body" and "No Tomorrow" holding down the metal and aggressive front, to the Led Zeppelin infused track "2 Many Games", this album delivers every style imaginable and even rounds the album out with three reggae inspired/infused album closers.

In a time when so many bands are playing it safe and going through the motions, whether it be out of fear of failure or lack of new ideas, (Hed)p.e. embraces change and "Evolves" with their greatest work to date.

DVT
DVT was originally started as a 3-piece band with Christian Sia, Richard Shoemaker, and James Munroe. The band has been through many internal conflicts resulting in line-up changes thus bringing in Joey Sia and Maui Olivares. After a series of shows with the 4-piece band DVT decided to bring back their original guitarist James Munroe now making the band a 5-piece. In April of 2012 Maui had to leave the band shortly due to personal reasons and we brought in good friend and vocalist DD to front-line the band. In June of 2012 DD had to move to Colorado, leaving the band, and Maui returned to the 5-piece punk band in June of 2012. During September the band was prepping to play the 3rd annual of Skalloween at The Vault. In an attempt to have a crossover of ska and punk; Jimi brought three more members into the band which were Kasey Cothran(Saxophone), Ryan Ruder(Trombone), and Jeremy Reichenbach(Trumpet) to play in the horn section of "DVSKA!" In the fall of November in 2012 Richard had to leave the band because of his career options. After Richard's departure, Shawn Stevens had taken his place in playing bass from January to May of 2013. Shawn left for various reasons and Nicolas MacDuffee of Xpulsion stepped in and played bass for DVT a little over a year from June 2013 to September 2014. Sabian Poggio of Feeble Fetus came to slap bass for a funky DVT from November 2014 to present. James Munroe had left the band in November of 2016 due to creative differences and soon Braxton Marcellous took the place of lead guitar during the same month.
Van Brando
Van Brando is a San Diego based Hip Hop & Metal / Hip Hop Emcee (MC/Rapper). Van Brando's style is unique not only to Daygo, but to SoCal (Southern California) as well. The scene has rarely been exposed to an Artist in the past 10 years who has an original approach to Hip Hop.

This all changed when Van Brando jumped on the scene. Imagine if Pantera, Slayer, System of a Down, Cradle of Filth and I See Stars were all in a raw musical orgy with Tech N9ne, Immortal Technique, Eminem, Beastie Boys, Hopsin and Necro. The result is not a messy room filled with money shots... It's an artistic display of borderline genius meets insanity.

In San Diego Van Brando is known as a screamer... Noooooo you sick bastards and confused Hip Hop lovers, not that type of screamer! The screaming Van Brando does, is a well balanced mix between the Underground Hip Hop culture, Metalcore culture and a Tarantino flick. Anytime an Artist can emerge in a flooded, convoluted and confused Underground Hip Hop scene and bring something new to the table... Fans can tell they've stumbled upon a rare gem.

If you're in Los Angeles (LA), Orange County (OC), San Diego (SD), Nova Scotia (CAN), Zambonia (AFR), Japan (JPN), Netherlands (NL) or somewhere on Sirius B... You can probably hear this dude ripping a mic right now if you listen carefully. Stars pass gas... Van Brando is essentially his own solar system of Hip Hop music fused with the hardcore stylings of a mad man. Van Brando is not looking to be the next star... He's looking to be your next inspiration!
